The Rogers Family Company is serious about making a difference in the lives of coffee farmers and coffee quality in Rwanda - so much so that we have our own development specialist (Anna Russo) and our coffee agronomist (Mario Serracin) living there to ensure Community Aid Programs initiatives are working.

Last month she wrote about how we completed work to repair and expand a school so there is more room and more light for children.
Also, through Community Aid, farmers are encouraged to bring their coffee cherries to the wet-mill which improves coffee farming, in exchange for extra payments from the mill. These changes are making big differences in the lives of coffee farmers there.
